At the invitation of Nikolaus Selimov (head of the dance program), I choreographed HOW TO HANDLE THIS together with six dancers who will complete their stage dance studies at the MUK in June 2024. My aim was to create a piece that was socially relevant and captured issues of our time that personally concern the participants. After several years of artistic research into the concept of collapse, the starting point was: how do we deal with all the news of crises, conflicts, negative future scenarios? Climate crisis, wars, pandemics concern us and the question arises: How do I position myself? How do I deal with these challenges, what are my coping strategies? What is my personal vision for the future?
